The Global Mission
The Global Mission was founded in 2006 by Dave and Anne Brodsky to fulfill their vision of proclaiming God’s heart for the world and helping His people embrace and respond to His desire for them to be part of building His Kingdom. They launched this ministry in the belief that as followers of Christ find their role in the Harvest and recognize their need for training, they can be effectively equipped as ministers of the Gospel. Since this time they have been engaging His people in the Great Commission and leading the charge into the mission field, helping individuals and churches find their best fit in missions and the joy of bringing glory to Christ.

Heidi and I have had the privilege of knowing Dave and Anne for years. Dave was one of the students who, after serving on an earlier summer project here in Israel, sought to return in 1992, but was denied entry and was subsequently re-routed to another country at the last minute. Although this re-routing took him away from his heart’s desire to live and serve God in Israel, God continued to keep Dave’s love for His people burning within him.

We count Dave and Anne among our key ministry partners over the years. It was through them that we received the first summer projects from the US. Dave was instrumental in connecting us with key individuals in the UK, helping us develop a partnership with them as well. These two partnerships resulted in both a number of summer projects, several Short Term INTernational (STINT) teams as well as long-term workers here in the country. Dave’s enduring personal commitment to us was demonstrated when Abigail died – he dropped everything and immediately got on a plane in order to be here with us and to support us during our time of loss.

When Dave and Anne decided to leave Cru staff and start The Global Mission, we both endorsed them and backed their new calling. In the years since its founding they have continued to be both faithful friends and partners with us in the ministry here. Through short trips a connection now exists been between our congregation and Crossline Community Church in Laguna Hills, CA. JP Jones, Crossline’s pastor, has addressed the Beit Eliahu leadership and encouraged our leaders’ hearts in their service here as well as served as the main speaker one year for the Or B’Aretz staff conference.

In serving Beit Eliahu as a part of The Global Mission, Heidi and I feel at home. We look forward to dreaming together with Dave and Anne about how we can work even more effectively together to bring workers to the very needy fields here in Israel. We also look forward to how we can include you in these conversations as well. Let us know if you are interested!
